Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?
and how shall they believe in him of who they have not heard?
and how how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, except they be sent?
as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things.
Romans 10:14-15
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God

All around you are people who are starving for the Truth. There are hurting people, lost people, confused people... People who are searching... People who are empty, but they don't know why. People who are aching to feel a void, and they are trying to fill it with the wrong things and the wrong people. Will you look around today? Will you feed someone who is starving, spiritually? Jesus said, "for I was hungry and you gave Me food.... inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me."Matthew 25:35a,40b NKJV Look around today and offer someone some spiritual food. (Jesus is the Bread of life)
Jesus said, "I was thirsty and you gave Me drink..." Jesus is the Living Water! Will you look around today, for that person who is thirsting after hope and life, and offer them Living Water? Lift your eyes and look at the fields... You can save someone's life today, literally, if you would take the time to look... Not just with your natural eyes, but with your spiritual eyes.
Look at the person, who seems to always get angry. Look at your neighbor who never says hello, and is not kind. Look at the stranger in the bank, and the woman in the supermarket, look at your children, your parents, your spouses, your friends and family. Take a look at the neighbors' kids who always get into trouble. Look at the person standing on the street corner begging for money and food. Just take a look today.
We are not here to walk past the hurting nor are we to judge those whom we feel are "unsaved". We are here to reach out to ALL. We are here to share the 'Good News' and offer the hope that is in Jesus the Christ. How many people will you ignore today, as they cry out, "I'm starving for love... I'm starving for hope... I'm starving for peace... I'm starving, and I want to be filled!" How many people will you ignore today as they cry out, "I'm dying, does anybody care?" How many people will you turn your nose up at, shake your head in disapproval at, or tune out because they're not as "holy" as you?
Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest.
The Lord is speaking today...He is looking for laborers to work in the vineyard.
"Jesus said to them, 'My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Do you not say, "There are still four months and then comes the harvest?" Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!" John 4:34-35 NKJV
"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few." Matthew 9:37

TRY LIVING FOR JESUS
Do you want to be blessed? Stop hanging out with the ungodly; stop taking advice from the unsaved; stop sitting, resting and relaxing with the scornful. The Word says we’re blessed so don’t stand in the path where sinners walk. If we’re saved; if we’re a child of God; if we walk on the path that He has set before us… then it's impossible to follow the unsaved and it's impossible to walk in the path of those not saved. Living a double life with a double mind means you are wavering in your faith; wavering in your walk; wavering in your commitment and wavering in your relationship with God. And the Word says if you’re double minded then you are unstable in all your ways, and you shouldn’t expect to receive anything from God. (James 1:6-8)
So if we want to be blessed; if we want what God has for us; if we are ready to walk into our destiny and into our future…the Word says that we should habitually meditate on His law, (His instructions, and teachings), day and night. We begin to follow God’s Word in every area of our lives. Then the Word says we will be like a tree firmly planted and tended by the streams of water… We will bring forth fruit; and everything we do will prosper and come to maturity. This is a life sold out on Christ!!!! This is a life that doesn’t compromise; doesn’t waver and doesn’t hesitate to do what God says… No matter what others say or what others think. This is a person who does not live a double life, but a sold out life!!!
It is decision making time. So many Christians are walking a defeated life, because they are living a double life; they waver back and forth; they are tossed to and fro like a wave of the sea. But when we decide it’s all God or nothing; When we decide we’re going on His path with no detours, no distractions and no stopping by the side of the road, we will find that we are no longer double minded, no longer confused, no longer stressed out, no longer jumping back and forth… But now we are stable; now we are steadfast; now we are growing, moving, changing; now we’re stronger, tougher and wiser!!!
DON’T BE DOUBLE MINDED; JUST PUT ON THE MIND OF CHRIST!
There is only one True God, and He sets before us today, life and blessings….CHOOSE LIFE.
“Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly (following their advice, their plans and purposes), nor stands (submissive and inactive) in the path where sinners walk, not sits down (to relax and rest) where the scornful (and the mockers) gather.” Psalm 1:1 Amplified

A PRAYER FOR GOD'S PEOPLE
Dear Lord, we read the scripture and hear you say keep my decrees, laws, commands and statutes and it can feel strict and hard to do, but in those same words we find promise, delight and comfort and so we come with confidence in your goodness.
God help us to turn our heart toward your statutes, we want to do what you say, to know your decrees. So many things can lead us in the wrong direction. Help us to be drawn in the right way, toward you and your words that direct and guide, words that give life and hope.
Save us Lord from our sin, from our mistakes and the things in our world that cause sickness and pain and suffering. We need your healing.
We stand with those who are hoping and trusting in you.
We pray for our loved ones on our prayer sheet, folks in our church family and those we know who are faced with a sickness or disease, and those recovering from surgery.
God, you are strong and powerful, bigger than anything we face, preserve us according to your word. Thank you Lord for the assurance in your word and the promise of your love.
In Jesus name. Amen
